After the leak, the collective of hackers behind Vitamin, in particular TheFloW, initially announced they would stop working on the tool entirely, so this announce comes as a surprise. TheFloW made the decision after “thinking about it all night”.
TheFloW stated that the latest version enables 444MHz support for the cpu (which one can assume would make the dumping process faster), improves game dumping compatibility, and removes a bug that would corrupt the game if the PS vita goes into sleep mode. We also noted that it seems to add useful information such as a progress bar during the dumping process.
Vitamin is a tool that lets PS Vita owners decrypt and copy official PS Vita games, that can then be run DRM-Free on hacked PS Vitas, running firmware 3.60 even working on us 3.61+ henkaku.
